Draft Accounting Services, LLC joined forces with Theresa B. Hunt, CPA PC and merged into Hunt & Associate, LLC in December 2016. Owned and operated by a mother and daughter, they have the knowledge and expertise to help you accomplish your goals.

Theresa B. Hunt, CPA has a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance, a Masters of the Science of Accounting, and has been in the accounting industry for over 35 years. Theresa has served as a State Auditor, taught Accounting at the college level, and has been a successful CPA for many years.

Mary Hunt Cowherd, EA, daughter of Theresa, has a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting and Business Management. She also earned the distinction of being an Enrolled Agent (EA) in October 2016.

What is an Enrolled Agent (EA)?

An enrolled agent is a person who has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service by either passing a three-part comprehensive IRS test covering individual and business tax returns, or through experience as a former IRS employee. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this elite status must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.

Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), have unlimited practice rights. This means they are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can represent clients before.
